Shamelessly finished half bottle at Auld Alliance, superb rum with strong body and superb expressions, fruity, bright and powerful, a bit wood added to increase the complexity Caroni Velier single casks expressions are interesting, they are not like those dark side Caronis, they are just fantastic rum Similar rums include Caroni “Fire”, Caroni Paradise 1998(if I am not wrong)

15.02.2020 Had a nice evening with dinner and everything and after that a nice little tasting. Notes. Very dark in colour. Nose Wood, spice, roasted, plum, glue, light caramel, citrus, light medicinal note. Palate Oily, complex, wood, roasted, chocolate, citrus, banana, varnish, light mint. Finish Very long, wood, varnish, citrus, mint, earthy. Extra note. The longer in the glass the more flavours are released.

Absolutely magnificent with sweet and dry notes perfectly balanced. Some hints of red fruits add more complexity. Legendary release from Velier ! One of my favorite Single Cask and probably one of the best Caroni I have ever tasted ! 🥰

Pure Caroni love! Heavy, full bodied with a nice balance of dark fruits, chocolate, industrial notes. Perfectly integrated alcohol with a super long and dry finish. Top class and happy I had the chance to try this.
