Ich mag New Grove total gerne. Tolle, intensive Aromen, sowohl in der Nase als auch am Gaumen. Der hier ist mit starken 60% abgefüllt. Wahrscheinlich 14yo. Nase: würzig-fruchtig-holzig. Erste Assoziation ist Tee. Genauer genommen eine Packung Grüntee, frisch geöffnet. Dazu Vanille mit einer schönen Mischung aus Kokos, Passionsfrucht, Orange und Zitrone. Es kommt auch noch ein bisschen Birne hinzu. Hinten sind auch leicht Minze und Eindrücke von Kupfer. Er braucht ein wenig Zeit im Glas, damit die 60% einen nicht vernebeln, dann aber echt toll. 8,6 Gaumen: intensiv und kräftig, würzig und holzig. Zu Beginn sind da Minze und Tee mit ordentlich Veilchen. Hat auch einen leicht metallisch-kupfernen Antritt. Birne und Zitronenschale liefern Fruchtigkeit, vielleicht Kardamom oder Muskat Würze. Die 60% geben schon alkoholische Schärfe, aber auch aromatische Tiefe. Toller Rum. 8,6

sehr rund und süffig für 60%, fruchtige Nase, allerdings auch sehr metallisch und medizinisch im Abgang... nach etwas Atemzeit entwickelt sich das medizinische zu Menthol und Minze und Schwarztee 🤤 Mal etwas ganz anderes, was ich so aus Mauritius noch nie hatte. geiler Stoff!

Toller Rum aus Mauritius. Nach einiger Zeit im Glas kommen zu Kokosnuss-Aromen (Foursquare?) auch Tee und Minze dazu. Auf der fruchtigen Seite kommt Erdbeere dazu. Für eine bessere Bewertung ist der Rum aber etwas zu biestig/scharf.
