Vanilla, yellow apple and a little honey on the nose, then a flat, oily-sweet palate where the alcohol mostly takes over. This is a vintage Jamaican bottling that tastes nothing like today's high-ester Jamaica — young wood, a touch of allspice, and, as several tasters note, an oddly artificial sweetness. Interesting to try as a curiosity, but most call it drinkable and dull rather than exciting.

Very strong. The alcohol drowns everything. Hardly any aroma and if so only artificial sweetened aromas. Because of the alcohol you imagine some pepper, but it could also just be the alcoholic sharpness. Surely more suitable as a baking ingredient. Almost no character recognizable.

Nikis and Artur's Jamaican adventures part 2. First of all, again a big thank you for the chance to have such rarities in the glass. To put it bluntly, Jamaican rum decades ago was not the rum you know from Jamaica today, yet very interesting to try. These are not really top-notch, but still more than drinkable.

A rum from the series "Niki’s and Artur's Jamaican Adventures Part 2". A fruity nose with yellow fruits, especially apple. A certain sweetness appears on the palate with spices and young wood. The finish is on fruits and sweetness but also on spices and apple. A simple but balanced rum. Maybe with added sugar?

Solid, present spicy aroma on the nose paired with fruit notes - quite flat on the palate, vanilla sugar, fruits, overall somewhat artificial and rather flat. Drinkable, but boring.

Nikis and Arturs Jamaican Adventures No9. Delicious on the nose with fruit and honey, slightly bitter. Alcohol a bit noticeable. On the palate oily and thick... Sweet, less fruity. A bit alcoholic but quite okay.
