Another old tasting where I have the following notes. Beautiful colour with lots of fruit and spices. Well balanced with very good alcohol integration. Very light chocolate and coffee in the profile.

Unfortunately, there is very little rum left in this bottle, so oxidation must be a factor. Winey nose, borderline vinegar, warm but dry palate.

Great bottling that comes across as very dense and complex—dilution does not have a negative effect on the aroma. After some time in the glass, a dense texture of spice, light sweetness, and barrel aromas remains. Very well done!
