A rum that probably does not have the notoriety of eg Diplomatico (Botucal) or Ron Zacapo, but absolutely does not have to hide from these. Super price performance, no artificial flavors, comes across really honest. I like this rum very much.

Preis-Leistung passt hier ziemlich gut. Ich nehme ihn gerne für Cocktails z.b Old Fashioned oder Old Cuban.

very round pleasant rum. as a typical sokera column still no big surprise here, but this role he plays excellent! pleasant natural sweetness and nutty-creamy, what I associate with Venezuelan Rums

Going deeper from Venezuela, dry and straight rum with decent spices and nice balance.

Very pleasant nose. Lots of sweetness and a little wood. The palate is as sweet as expected but its not clogging. Think wood covered in caramel. The finish is shorter than i'd have liked but for the time it's with you it's got a nice dried fruit and biscuit notes to it. Overall, a good rum that would make a great gift.

Pretty good. Not too complex but pleasin GB front to back. Nose is very nice. Sweet and aromatic, baking spices and caramel with apple notes singing in the background. Probably the best thing about this rum, beautiful. It’s fairly sweet through and through with some pepper and plum punching mid palate. Nothing complex or all that interesting but it’s nice. The finish is short with a faint sweetness played out out in chocolate with some barrel notes and a little earthiness.

Round and sweet. Very short on the palate.

Angenehm mild, aber mir fehlt was, das "gewisse Etwas". Andere Sorten haben mehr...Charakter? Seele?

"A very mature and elegant rum that has a lot to offer for reasonable money. A positive example of solera matured rums in the Spanish style"
