Review by Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰
This is a tasting from 1991 and back then the bottle was pretty high price. Today the price is even higher and if you're lucky you can get it for less than 3000 euro. The notes I have on this rum. Beautiful colour, fresh and intense yet very well balanced with lots of fruit, wood and spices. Oily on the palate and long finish.
Review by TheRhumhoe
A legendary rum that dives into antiquity. The nose is very soft, starting with floral, earthy and fresh notes, then come woody aromas, old leather, spices (vanilla and nutmeg) with a slight fruitiness carried by red and exotic fruits after aeration. You feel a touch of noble alcohol. The attack on the palate is very delicate, carried by many spices, wood, leather, licorice, tobacco and red fruits, with a certain bitterness present on the palate. Despite dilution, it remains a complex rum that needs time to express itself. The finish is however relatively short, carried by the same flavors. A rum from another era, that makes you travel, but maybe lacks a little something to be excellent.
