Really top, the best Ricci of this range influences? Dry and candied fruit, a bit of sugar, nothing to complain about, it’s really my type! On the nose, it's rather fruity, with green apple pointing me towards Worthy Park, dried apricot to remind me of Australia, and a spicy cardamom. Quite an alcoholic nose. A certain astringency makes it rather difficult to apprehend in the mouth, then a fruity eau de vie of pear, yellow fruit, a little caramelized. Tart finish, light tropical fruit, a little caramel.

#4943 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Light, sweet, faint wood, light roasted, faint plum, light marzipan, dried fruits, faint medicinal. Palate Light, sweet, light cherry, light wood, faint smoke, fruity, light vegetal, faint mint, faint marzipan, light citrus. Finish Medium to long, light wood, fruits, light apricot, faint marzipan, light vegetal, faint medicinal.

Hmm der Rum wir ganz anders beschrieben wie ich ih. Geschmeckt habe. Ich habe viel florale ,würzige Noten auch holz aber kein kecksteig kein toffee ,keine wirkliche süße oder karameliesierte. Er erinnert eher an einen HSE black sheriff Agricole Rum. Er ist aber denoch ein sehr angenehmes Produkt

A blend rum between Jamaica (probably Worthy Park) and Australia (Beenleigh), which aims to be simple, sweet and easy to drink. The nose is the most evolved here, with very ripe exotic fruits (banana) and citrus, a bit of phenols, pastry notes leaning towards Demerara sugar, a bit of spice, cask influence and floral notes. There's a bit of everything and it's pleasant for the nose. The palate is a bit more limited. The fruits pierce the palate with yellow, dry fruits, coconut and citrus, all sprinkled with vanilla, toasted, spicy and caramelized notes. Roundness reigns and the profile gets stuck on it, thus limiting its potential. A few more degrees could have made a difference on this profile where Worthy Park leads and Beenleigh becomes totally transparent. The finish is along the same line: fruity, spicy, caramelized, sweet like a crème brûlée and with a hint of tobacco as a bonus. Famille Ricci therefore offers an accessible cuvée, which will allow people reluctant to heavier profiles to discover something new.

Here is a rum that I enjoyed as a whole. For its price, it's a rum with beautiful fruity notes, easy to drink. No hassle, a perfect rum after a tough day at work, to relax and clear your mind.

Goûté à l'occasion du Caen Spirits Festival, pas les meilleures conditions donc. Il ne m'a pas laissé un grand souvenir. Très porté sur les agrumes. Un côté pâtissier, sûrement apporté par le rhum australien. Sympa mais pas transcendant.

Very nice blend, I like it a lot despite the significant reduction. A very cool nose, on tropical fruits and spices. Quite full on the palate with a nice sweetness. After aerating the bottle, a quite marked pear note in the mouth. Medium finish. Really a very good value for money!
