The surprise here is that an Australian rum tastes like fruit schnapps — think Williams pear brandy that spent a few years in an agricole cask. Green apple, pear, a little raspberry and honey, dry and floral on the nose. Most tasters find the palate too thin and one-dimensional, and nearly everyone wishes it had a few percent more punch.

The nose is rather off-putting. But the taste is good. Initially seemed a bit Jamaican but then too little ester for that. Definitely worth trying. Solid but not absolutely necessary to have tried.

🍐als würde Williams pear brandy in Agricole barrel mature a few years. in addition, some mirabelle, honey, nutmeg and very dry and yet pleasant. no high-flyer but for Australia a relaxed sipper and nice fruity. Could only have a few % more.

Interesting floral nose that gives hope for something good, but then very flat on the palate. In principle, an interesting profile but not sufficiently pronounced, so that in the end except for an extremely mild ginger-pear flavor not much remains. Burns slightly on the tongue although it is otherwise extremely mild.

On the nose, it comes across quite fruity. On the palate, you can taste apple, pear, and raspberry. Local fruits are an interesting change, but I find it lacks some complexity. All in all, it's just okay. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not really interesting, rather boring. But also nothing that would disturb so badly. You can drink it, but you don't have to.

Fruity nose, some citrus, some green apple and some raspberry, plus a bit of sweetness from honey. Overall a bit weak though. On the palate, the fruitiness from the nose is completely lost behind a metallic plastic note. Slightly salty bitter comes through, a bit of wood and leather and something like bitter almond. I like that. Only in the finish does some light fruitiness come back. More proof would do this rum very well. Very good as an introduction to this flavor profile...
