Ein kräftiger würziger Geruch, leicht süß, holzig, etwas alkoholisch. Der Geschmack ist dunkel, würzig, auch süß, angenehm. Der Alkoholgehalt ist erst im Finish zu merken.

07.2024 Erster Eindruck: schöner rotbrauner, klarer Farbton, fruchtig aromatisch, keine alkoholische Schärfe trotz des hohen ABV, sehr einladend Nase: frische tropische und getrocknete Früchte, bißchen Gewürze. Gaumen: die knackigen 73% machen sich jetzt sehr bemerkbar und überdecken zunächst die Holz-, Gewürz- und Tabaknoten. Die setzen sich allerdings schon nach kurzer Zeit wieder durch. Abgang: mittellang mit der Verlängerung der würzigen Eindrücke vom Gaumen. Gesamteindruck: der hohe Alkoholgehalt ist längst nicht so bissig, wie er sich anhört. Dennoch halte ich ihn in Mixern besser aufgehoben als als Neat Sipper. Hab meine Bewertung von 6,8 auf 7,0 angehoben, weil mir die Aromen in der Nase gut gefallen. Übrigens: die 1-Literflasche kostete unter 30€, ergibt ein beeindruckendes Preis-Alkohol-Verhältnis. 2022 73% ABV are pungent in the first, then change to warmth and roasted aromas . I like the nose (75) better than the palate (60). Will make a good and strong Mixer.
