27.11.2020 Tasting at this old hotel meeting a lot of new people. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, fruity, vanilla, citrus, light caramel, light vegetal, faint floral. Palate Oily, balanced, wood, fruity, apple, light licorice, spice, light vegetal, caramel. Finish Medium long, balanced, oily, light citrus, light caramel, vegetal.

This kind of Reimonenq makes you understand why Reimonenq is really good despite all the biases of the seasoned taster. Living in Guadeloupe, Reimonenq always seemed to me little complex, bland or even sauced while still quite drinkable. With this one, we have complexity and balance that makes you want to come back. You see the potential of this distillery with this kind of less reduced juice. I also find many similarities with the Clement brand with which I often confused it blind (secret of barrels/similar aging?). Yum yum
