En bouche c est éclatant de nombreuses saveurs apparaissent, d abord le boisé mais également un côté fumé. Peut-être quelques notes de tabac. Finale longue continuant sur le bois mouillé. Très bon rhum, puissant et complexe. Très équilibré et appréciable.

First off I would really have liked to try this one at a higher ABV because that would habe been an experience I think. Secondly, you get a bang for your buck with this rum. Fruity with spices and floral hints and very well balanced wood and ABV. A must try in my mind. Could also be an introduction to beginners.

Yes, this Trois Rivieres really knows how to convince. On the nose, I really only smelled wood. On the palate it was also very woody, oak I would say, and then also honey and slightly spicy. Really great for a 42%.

This was my first Trois Rivieres, and a great Rhum. So I remember that I wondered how the more expensive ones were. It’s very aromatic with aromas and flavors of fruits, spices and wood. The finish is rather long and flavorful.

Very marked vanilla on the nose and dried tropical fruit on the palate, its 100% ex-bourbon maturation brings salted caramel and very pleasant tannins. The best 3R with a cigar.

Le nez est très séducteur et parfumé. Un nez très fruité particulièrement chaleureux. Il est porté sur les fruits confits. A cela s’additionne un boisé séducteur et une pointe de poivre. Le tout recouvert d’une touche de miel ! En bouche c’est dense et parfaitement équilibré, on a droit à un beau bouquet de fruits confits. Sans oublier un profil empyreumatique suave (tabac – bois). Des notes un peu plus épicées sur la finale, rend le tout plus tonique. Il s’agit là clairement d’un daily pleasure, un rhum parfaitement équilibré qui se boit sans prise de tête. Il me plait vraiment.

C’est un bon rhum malgré un petit manque de watts mais je suis habitué à des rhums beaucoup plus fort donc normal. C’est rond , gourmand et très bien fait

On retrouve vraiment tout dans ce rhum avec un boisé fin typique de la Martinique, du floral avec le jasmin, du fruité avec de la pêche blanche et de l'abricot confit, de l'epicé avec du miel et de la vanille et des notes torréfiées avec quelques fruits à coques dont l'amande. Si je peux lui trouver un petit défaut c'est le manque de gourmandise malgré le fût ex bourbon (un petit peu d'astringeance en finale)

It’s altogether a reasonable rum but a little one dimensional and lacking to be memorable. Elements of sugarcane and some spice on the front of the palate. Overall it comes across as dry with very little in the way of fruit or anything distinct in the mouth. The finish is medium short and again dry and almost tannic. Hard to get excited and not the best Trios Rivières offering have tasted
