The nose pulls in tropical fruit, citrus and vanilla with a waxed-wood note several French tasters single out; the palate leans woody with soft spice and a long, dry finish. Lots of barrel notes (cinnamon, vanilla), long dry finish, citrus and dark chocolate on the palate. What I like best here is the finish.

This one is biting even after resting it for a longer period of time. Ended up adding a drop of water to get more flavours. Fruity with spices and smoky oak is what I get.

Agricole rhum the way I like it! On the nose: exotic notes meet lemon, vanilla, little wood, exciting but difficult to grasp. Great, powerful notes, complex, vanilla, wood with a wonderfully intense finish that lasts a long time. For me, the best HSE so far. It was one of my favorites in the "Extreme rare Rhum Agricole Tasting" from Rumdepot

The nose is simply PERFECT, very fruity with a delicious waxed wood! On the palate it's slightly below the nose (the opposite would have been difficult) but still excellent, rather focused on wood and soft spices, even incense. Long finish on the same notes and a nice freshness well after.

Beautiful agricole with barrel notes that blend very well, in this barrel noise of dried fruits and wood, nice length, everything you expect from a great agricole. The launch price was reasonable, but today the price has greatly increased
