Review by Giorgio Garotti
It's too bad this distillery has been closed now for more than 30 years because it used to make really great agricole rum!As a whole it's really mouthwatering and full of fragrance! For those who like agricole to try at least once!
Review by Émile Shevek

#4235 03.09.2023 this was a nice blind tasting where I saw the black Glencairn tasting glasses for the first time. I wonder where this bottle came from but it was a nice surprise once revealed. Fruity with really nice flowery notes. I'd say it was close to what you pick up when you walk into a womens perfume store. Love the cherry in the profile, which is a bit light and I would have loved a higher ABV. Draws nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some coconut, wet grass and chocolate.

liquid history of course but from a time when the focus was on Cognac like low ABV destillation/bottlings. Smooth and balanced, a light rhum missing complexity and depth. But we have those great Damoiseaus and Courcelles, but are they so good because they are not pure agricoles?
