Caramel, chocolate and coconut on the nose, with a soft, sweet, lightly minty palate and a whisper of solvent. This is a Guatemala–Guyana blend: the sweeter Central American side smooths out the Port Mourant character underneath. Several tasters call it easy and gourmand, but note it runs a bit short and light on the finish. A gentle, well-made everyday pour.

OK release especially when looking at the price tag. I like the caramel note in the profile. The light coffee note on the palate is also a nice touch.

A rather well-made and very accessible blend. The sweet and caramelized notes brought by the Hispanic rums make a Guyana with more character easier. This makes it an easy-to-drink bottle and quite good for introducing novices.

I liked it, but it falls a bit short on the finish. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: roasted almonds, camphor, mentholated. On the palate: tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, honey. The finish rather leans towards: licorice, menthol, caramel.

Very gourmand nose with the mix of chocolate, coconut caramel. On the palate, it is very smooth with a nice menthol freshness. The finish is quite short. Another good rum from the Ricci family, a little lack of character on tasting to go higher.

Same problem encountered across the entire Ricci range: the multiplication of barrels used for finishing does not allow the characteristics of each to stand out.

A very correct blend. The port mourant stands out on the nose despite composing only 38%. On the palate always these typical port mourant markers accompanied by chocolate notes. A somewhat short finish. In any case, on the palate the two origins marry well. A good quality-price ratio.

Smells of ether at first nose. But a soft and pleasant ether. Soft on the palate with floral whisky aromas like Japanese. A slight length in the mouth of dried grass.
