Un rhum goûté au Lucerne Gin and Rum Festival 2024. Un nez vif et alcoolique avec des solvants et du vernis, mais aussi du massepain, du boisé et des fruits secs. Le vernis est présent en début de bouche, puis les fruits secs et les noix, le côté pâtissier et le boisé montent au créneau. La finale est de longueur moyenne sur le bois de cèdre et les noix. Un rhum vif et énergique qu’il faut apprivoiser pour pouvoir l’apprécier. Une expression de Foursquare différente des autres.

Orange and honey candy, beautiful oak spices, chocolate, and menthol. A whiff of all purpose cleaner. Also some yellow fruits like mango, banana, tin pineapples, fruitty bubblegum. Very balanced and vibrant. With such ABV I had to add some water. It takes water well, holds it together, saturates the aromatics and becomes more accessible. In taste and aftertaste I got banana and honey spongecake, lemon zest and mint. Great offering of quality rum.
