Montebello Cuvée the Bolokos Édition Océ Cheapfret 2019

At 77.7% you'd expect a wall of heat, and the surprise here is how well the alcohol sits — sharp but not aggressive. It's a raw column-still Guadeloupe agricole: fresh-cut cane, citrus, and a strong mineral, earthy streak that a few tasters found downright metallic. Let it rest and the cane opens up, with licorice and mint in the empty glass. Interesting more than easy.

#4211 This one needs to rest before revealing a nice intense profile. Very fresh and lightly fruity with natural Agricole notes. The empty glass is nice and has some licorice and minty notes.
