🥃 Plantation Old Reserve Trinidad 2000 – 42% Distilled in 2000 in Trinidad, bottled around 2012 by Plantation Rum. Tropical aging followed by finishing in cognac barrels in France. Some talk about a possible TDL/Caroni blend… Honestly? I doubt it. It's easy. Too easy. Round, soft peach, light spices, caramel. But it lacks depth, tension, soul. I'm left wanting more.

16/10/2026: S10T01 Road Rummers Trinidad tasting @ TasTToe. First rum of the line-up: an old Plantation Trinidad 2000 bottling. Very light on the nose. No peach or mint. The palate is very weak as well and tastes rather artificially sweet. Short finish. Not recommended.

Roadrummers S10T01 Trinidad tasting Light and sweet. Sticky sweet. Don't recognize a TDL here. Some honey notes. Don't recommend this one.
