This is definitely a good rum for beginners. A bit too sweet for me, but still nicely balanced and an easy sipper. The nose is sweet with vanilla and chocolate. The palate is sweet and fruity with spices and caramel. Kind of a smooth rum. The finish is medium and sweet with vanilla.

6,8:The nose is very sweet, opening with notes of banana candy, caramel. This confectionery rum announces a very bubblegum spirit, with peach syrup and a hint of grenadine, pear. Aeration takes us to even sweeter notes of cinnamon and vanilla, with the powderiness of a marshmallow. 6,2:The palate is round and sweet, with a slightly spicy barley-sugar flavor, caramel. The banana candy melts into a syrup scented with toasted oak, pear and develops into roasted notes (coffee). 6:The finish is sweet, round, sticky and roasted. Edit:17.3.26.

Who likes banana, will also like Bumbu.many of my acquaintances speak of a "women's rum". I disagree, I like it very much. Smell and taste very "bananig", yet a real rum with slight sharpness. Of course, also sweet, but R.H. Riise is partly much sweeter.

2022 Interesting development of banana/caramel on the nose, solid on the palate to a slightly toasty finish. Unfortunately very, very sweet, almost sticky, which drowns out any other flavors that may be present. A nice party sipper in an admittedly very succinctly decorated bottle.

Well, what to say. Bumbu is one of my most favorite rums of all time. In the Fun for your buck ratio it doesn't have much contenders at all. Fruity and bananas. Mnam dopici.

This rum is very good for initiation to the world of rum, very accessible for beginners who do not want to assault their palate with more robust rums, thanks to its increased sweetness and its strong taste of banana, vanilla, caramel. We can also note the pirate type bottle, rather flattering in its bar and pleasant to look at, for a first bottle of rum. It is also the type of bottle to have in its bar and to share without moderation with guests swearing by Captain Morgan and Malibu. It remains pleasant and festive... For a rum-based spirit.

Very sweet rum with a predominance of banana in the sensory aspect. In mouth it takes very well and is pleasant. It goes very well with a marijuana cigar and grilled meat. Salu! 🥃

This is not a rum but a rum based spirit. The taste and also the smell are very intense like banana which I perceive as positive because the banana does not come across as artificial. However, the product is far too sweet for my taste. Therefore I cannot recommend it

Another rum that I came back to after a long time just because I figured I wouldn't do a single rumx entry in retrospect. It's chemical, it's sweet, but it was one of those things that got me on the rum journey. I showed it to a lot of people, and they were thrilled. Nowadays I try to dazzle all those people with rums from Jamaica, for example.
