I'm really amazed at how much flavour this one has looking at the relative young age. Fresh and fruity with spices and wood. A very wall balanced and rounded rum. Would have loved to try it at a higher ABV. Price to quality is very good.

Another great neisson. Quite young but already well rounded and very intense despite low abv. On the nose young wood mixes with floral notes and some cappuccino too. When drinking the wood and spices are in first places, the flowers come out in the end before the pretty long aftertaste spices driven.

Nettement meilleur que la version LMDW. On retrouve les marqueurs Neisson en bouche avec ce côté épicé.

Neisson VSOP 2015 – 44% Sorti pour les 88 ans de la distillerie, uniquement disponible sur place, ce rhum a vieilli près de 5 ans (9/07/2015 → 16/04/2020) avant d’être embouteillé à 44% – soit 88 US proof, clin d’œil à l’anniversaire. Tirage limité à 1200 exemplaires. À ses côtés, une petite sœur commercialisée par LMDW, au vieillissement atypique : 4 mois en fût neuf (profil 105) 2 ans ½ en ex-Bourbon 2 ans ½ en ex-Cognac Un VSOP de haut niveau, parfaitement équilibré et représentatif du terroir martiniquais. On regrette simplement un léger manque de gourmandise et de longueur. Comme souvent avec Neisson, le prix reste élevé (un VSOP Saint James tournant à 30 €...), mais quand on aime... Et de toute façon, c’est déjà introuvable. 👉 Perso, j’ai préféré la version distillerie à celle de LMDW.

Un rhum Neisson jeune, frais, floral. Je ne lui ai trouvé quasi aucune longueur. Profil pas assez boisé à mon goût.Un peu déçu de cette dégustation.
