A release that already shows the long aging. Classic elegance of the typical Clement profile combined with cask notes, roasted-bitter spice and pleasant aroma of dried fruits. High level.

01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 A great Agricole with very good balance. The palate is medium dry with a fruity touch. The finish is medium to long with a nice grassy note.

On the nose it is elegant and intense, with noble wood, red fruits (cherries), dried fruit, citrus, floral, a touch of enamel and a bit of young leather mixed with licorice and vanilla. A delight. On the palate it is pungent with pepper, dried fruits (apricots), red fruits (cherry), citrus, noble wood, light leather/toasting, some spices and on the persistent finish a sweet and slight nougat note that rounds it all off. Nose: Spice predominates, licorice, vanilla but also tobacco and notes of glue. Palate: Malty, roasted aromas at the beginning, wood and notes of cocoa or dark chocolate. Fruit discreetly in the background. Very mild and round. Finish: Malty and slightly herbal Conclusion: wonderfully balanced alcohol content in a spicy rum that is strongly reminiscent of a whisky. Delicious drop.
