I like trying new rums and this one really stuck with me. Personally, I am able to enjoy it both on the rocks and mixed with ginger beer or coke. I really appreciate sweet rums, so perhaps why I rate this higher than most would.

5,5:On the nose, we get notes of ginger, cinnamon, clove, cocoa, nutmeg, molasses & cardamom with all warmth of the freshly-baked notes, caramel and all very sweet as we expected. Plain and simple, Xmas in one. 5,2:On the palate is well-balanced actually. It's a really nice drink as we get the cinnamon coming forward, some touch of cloves is there, a little bit of pepper, well it is a wintery drink, although a bit watery. 5:The finish is sweet, spicy, rather short and weak, all quickly fading away..

It was bought as an experiment for little money back then. It doesn't work on its own, but as a blender for hot winter drinks on cold days, it does the job.
