Considering the high alcohol content, this is a very balanced rum. I can drink it very well neat. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is hard to beat. The aroma is a combination of overripe fruit, especially pineapple and banana.

Half dry, vanilla and some kind of orange in the nose. The taste is dry and somewhat chemical, the fruitiness present in the nose disappears in the taste.

It’s not infused with coffee beans and therefore much better than the Green & Red Label in my opinion. I recognize chocolate, caramel, tropical fruits and some sweetness. The nose is quite weak, but on the palate and during the medium long finish goes easier to recognize the tastes.

Thanks to RumRatings for this sample! This one is by far the best of the 4 samples from Ron Colon! A funky mix of different notes. Nose: Blind i classified it as a jamaican. Esters?!? 🤔🥲 There are smells and tastes of different fruits, agricole and a lot of spice. A short woody, coffee finish. Nose: 8.4 Palate: 7.5 Finish:7,9

At this great price, it goes from good to very good! I wrote this relatively early in my rum journey and bought a bottle. The price was reasonable and the rum mostly proved itself as a mixer. Neat, I have to downgrade it a bit though, taste-wise it's a bit too bitter. -4

Considering the high proof this is actually an very well balanced rum. Very smooth and you don't need to add water to bring down the proof. The blend is 70% 6-yaar old from Licorera Cihuatan Destillery, 15% 3-year old Jamaican and 15% unaged rum. It won gold at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. A fruity explosion at a very good price tag.

The aroma is a combo of overripe fruit, coffee, liquorice and caramel. Blindly identifying this rum was confusing for me. Not surprising when you mix 2 types of Worthy Park with Cihuatan. For me, a hilarious blend. I would fault them for noticeable immaturity.

This is no El Salvador rum in my life. Blind rather a Jamaican and esters without end. Does really well in dark & stormy. But don't understand the product😅

From the Club Tasting with Rumschnacker Falk Redlich. Nice blend from El Salvador and Jamaica. A full basket of fruit, a bit of funk and not an overwhelming amount of esters. Alcohol nicely integrated, doesn't burn or sting.

On the nose, we are at Hampden. Ripe fruits, esters, pineapple, banana and a certain roundness. The alcohol is very (not to say too) present. The fruits are also there and we really have the impression of a rather young Jamaican, Smith and Cross type. We can still feel in the background a touch of caramel or sugar which brings a certain roundness. The finish is medium long, with the same spicy and fruity notes. In the end, I remain hungry for the lack of information on the label. Rum not unpleasant. The alcohol is not very well integrated and I will be curious to know what is hidden in this blend.Edit: better at the end of the line up

A blend of slightly chocolaty, spicy rums with a Jamaica fruit bomb. In the taste very good but unfortunately the alcohol is clearly noticeable and somewhat pungent on the nose. With Imberger Bergkäse the raisin comes out very nicely.

Insanely interesting rum, which I had not previously on the screen. Has much of an Agricole and fits perfectly in a TiPunch or Daiquiri. Also a mojito could be very exciting. Extremely fruity and light despite the 55.5% vol. A nice interesting summer rum.
