The 1992 Enmores are simply on an exciting level. This release is no exception: leather, wood, dried plum, molasses, tobacco and licorice in an exciting interplay. Outstanding rum.

this was quite a bit disappointing. The cask is present but seems to be the only smell and taste. Alcohol is strong on the nose dominating all other fragrances that might be there. On the palate alcohol and wood, no fruits, no herbs, no nothing; might need to taste again on another day; may be the sample suffered somehow

04.09.2022 Meeting up for a nice after event party at my hotel. Good rum and food spread over a full day. Nose Wood, roasted, faint smoke, plum, light chocolate, anise, light caramel, faint earthy. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, spicy, fruits, anise, light chocolate, faint earthy. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, dried fruit, chocolate, light caramel.

Nose relatively light leather, dried fruits, anise, slight menthol and currants. On the palate comes a nice burnt caramel sweetness... some dark fruits, anise, pepper and chocolate...

Old Enmore. Comes heavy and dusty. Needs a lot of time in the glass, then clear old Enmore coffee/tobacco/salon notes. Nice rum, delivers what it promises and hardly holds any surprises.

The rum's darkness sets the tone: intense woodiness, leather, tobacco, prunes. All on a rather sweet nose. On the palate, all this explodes and coats the whole palate. It's superb. The alcohol is peppery. Tobacco, leather and a superb cappuccino finish. Superbly integrated alcohol. Magnificent bitterness. Endless length.

Best Demerara I have tasted to date, a lot woodier than the rare collection 96 but the anise and licorice are quite stunning.

But what a treat to be able to taste this little juice 🤩🤩 A real bonbon It's very gourmand and at the same time very complex. I gave it a nice half-hour aeration before I started dipping my lips in it Beautiful aromas, of leather, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, a magnificent woodiness... Very good length on the palate, with very well-integrated alcohol. It's just magnificent 😍

... Enmore - drive still, now just a functional still. Apparently the only wooden still in the world that enjoys great popularity. The Enmore rums have a flavour of ash, leather, heavy wood, which will delight especially the lovers of whiskey. And if in the traditional Guyanese way the producer adds a little molasses to the rum, you have a unique very distinctive and heavy rum in the bottle. One of my favourites.

Intense and very good. I expected it to be better. But on the attack I was taken over by a slightly acidic tobacco taste, a feeling I didn't find pleasant. It fades quickly. I'll have to try it again another time to see if I get this feeling as much or maybe I just shouldn't have expected so much... aaah the psycho side... 😁

On the nose, this rum is very pleasant, on prunes and caramel with a few hints of spice and wood. On the palate, however, it's more difficult: a very strange sensation persists, on Coca-Cola with a pronounced spiciness. A few seconds after this unpleasant sensation, the rum gives way to burnt sugar and licorice, still with a hint of caramel and prunes.

It's more restrained on the nose compared to the top enmorums, a little thinner on the palate, but on the other hand it offers a complex experience with wood and alcohol well integrated, and the fruit component comes through nicely. A nice piece

A great rum that shows what an old Enmore has to offer. Already in the nose it is intense and powerful. The fruitiness comes through very well. The alcohol is incredibly well integrated.
