A1710 Bête à feu 2021
Don't expect the usual grassy agricole here — this A1710 leans fruity and floral, with lime, exotic fruit and even a banana-candy note several tasters pick up alongside the vegetal, sugarcane side. At 50.9% the alcohol is well integrated, but give it time in the glass to open. One member sums up the nose simply: "OMG - that nose is amazing!" A natural for ti-punch, and a fair deal too.
The community says- Vivid fruity nose
- Well-integrated ABV
- But: Dry, brut neat

How does A1710 Bête à feu 2021 taste?
Aggregated from 87 community reviews.
Fresh, fruity agricole that shines in a ti-punch Most tasters rate it well — fresh, fruity and a great value pour, especially in a ti-punch. A few find it a touch dry or rough neat and less gripping sipped straight.

Despite its nice floral/fruity side, its white pepper/végétal counterpart, and a nice texture, there are still too many flaws for the premium category for me. Still that curious smell of gaz and swamps and the metallic touch that are often to be found in the A1710 white rhums. OK for the ti punches! For a good quality/price ratio i prefer the Engenhos do Norte Pot Still Limited Release, 20€ at any online portuguese shop.

Retasting this one and I stick to my score. Looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money with this release. A very fresh rum with nice fruits and floral notes. ABV has been integrated really well, just let it rest for a while before giving it a go! The empty glass has stronger notes of cherry and fresh grass notes.

The longer the rhum breathes, the more complex it becomes. The glory is fine bubbly in the glass. The taste is intense with some fruit. The finish is medium and somewhat dry. This rhum is what for connoisseurs and differs from the usual Ruhms from the island of Martinique, you can drink well as an aperitif or digestive. As Ti Punch the mineral and citrus notes come out.

👃 this is in my opinion the A1710 rum closest to an AOC agricole Martinique. It is therefore less marginal.Vegetal nose, notes of lime, 🍋 and earthy notes. 👄 lime, 🍋, peppery notes. Nice aromatic intensity. Can be drunk as much neat as in ti-punch.Great value for money.

"A little dry/brute but very fruity. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Vegetal, Fresh, Citrus fruit In the mouth: Fruity Finish: Peppery, Citrus". Not my favorite, but it's still good.

Wow, I really like this Fire Beast right now. We have a really fresh, floral and herbal rum here. Sugar cane and citrus fruits are also recognizable. It kind of reminds me of a Clairin.
