03.02.2026 Retasting this sum and I still find it pretty good and luckily I bought a bottle at release price. ----------- Another great rum from this bottling company. I like the difference between the nose, palate and finish. I especially like the light smoky touch on the finish.

This Cave Guildive much couldn't fully convince me. Nice nose, tropical fruits like pineapple, but also esters and slightly medicinal. On the palate quite roasted and dry, glue is noticeable, but alcohol is not well integrated.

A very direct rum, not very round, but with character. Smoky, lactic acid, ginger, pepper, cocoa, banana. Characteristic 09 vintage. You either like it or not.

A nose of esters and overripe tropical fruits with cedar wood support, dry herbs and a slightly dark side. The entry on the palate is a bit weak, then the aromas rise and so does the alcohol. The finish is medium long on overripe fruits and wood. A rum that maybe lacks a bit of complexity.

one of the best fijis I've had so far and fully meets my taste.on the nose ester, glue, banana, mango and espresso martini...in the taste then much heavier and smokier than the nose suggests: Cocoa, caramel candy, dark chocolate and mocha and then again baked banana with honey and sesame. awesome stuff!
