Depaz Dillon Blanc Canne Rouge - Récolte 2019
Members keep this in reach as a go-to white agricole, especially for a Ti-Punch. The nose leans surprisingly toward pear schnapps, then fresh grass, lime peel, sugarcane and a floral lift. At 50% the alcohol sits well integrated, with a peppery bite and a fruity finish. Neat it's pleasant if not a revelation; in a Ti-Punch it comes alive.
The community says- Fruity pear nose
- Great Ti-Punch base
- But: Short finish

Fresh, pear-and-grass agricole made for Ti-Punch Most tasters land on the same verdict: a fresh, fruity agricole that shines in a Ti-Punch. The one recurring gripe is a finish that fades fast for some.

Brutally good, very fruity Agricole and top PLV! Top ti punch and unusually "peary". With a hint of licorice, dates and coconut. Incidentally, it goes extremely well in a French ensemble but also in ti Punch, of course 🤤🍐⚜️🇲🇶🇨🇵

And then there's the nice surprise A very fruity rum, with a few stray dates that round out the profile. At this price, it's clearly a must-have. And did you know it's made at the Depaz distillery? Perhaps lacking a slightly longer finish if you want to go higher. Ultra good value for money.

Heute durfte es mal wieder ein Klassiker sein. Eine meiner Favoriten was ungelagerte Agricoles zum Mixen angeht. Vor allem bei dem Preis. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die ihn noch nicht probiert haben.

29.03.2022 Sampling a bit at home. Notes Transparent in colour. Nose Fresh, fruity, citrus, light orange, light grass, floral, sugarcane. Palate Oily, round, fresh, fruity, light citrus, orange, light floral, sugarcane, vegetal. Finish Medium long, fresh, vegetal, light citrus, faint floral.

Super fruity Agricole especially in the nose with some lime zest and sugar cane syrup also harmonizes wonderfully as Ti-Punch. For a top rating disturbs me the finish which is too strongly reminiscent of fruits that have already been too long in the sun.

Alkohol gut eingebunden, grasig, leicht fruchtig, komplex. Gefällt mir gut!
Review by TheRhumhoe
This monovarietal rum expresses the full potential of the red cane. Floral and vegetal as one could wish, the nose offers a nice bouquet of spices, sugar cane and citrus fruits that balances the whole. In the mouth, tropical fruits and citrus fruits (lime) take the lead and mix with earthy and grassy notes, slightly spiced up with pepper. The finish continues on the same freshness, both very round and aromatically intense. A rum with excellent value for money and which testifies to Dillon's desire to move upmarket.

Goûté au Rhum Fest 2024 donc pas les meilleures conditions. Agréable blanc sans grosse surprise pour moi. J'y retrouve la canne et le côté herbacé. Des agrumes également. Nez et bouche se tiennent. Sympathique.
Review by Korkennase🥃
Very fruity with a pleasant sharpness and slightly sweet. Also goes well with tonic water: 4 cl rhum, 1/8 lime, 1 level teaspoon of cane sugar infuse with tonic.... ready😋
Review by Benoit Mahe
A very interesting white rum, especially considering the price. The cane is both sweet and spicy, thanks to the pepper.

Ein guter Agricole, für mich aber nicht überragend. Grünschnitt, Äpfel, Grasnoten. Alkohol gut eingebunden. Für mich reüssiert Dillon eher bei den gelagerten Fassstarken.

Sweet and strong on the same time

A very fruity Agricole Blanc which initially reminds on the nose of Williams pear schnaps. Nicely fresh with herbal and spicy notes. But there is one thing that deters me and I can’t oversee it now is the fact that it smells like vomit.

schöne Aromatik schon pur. im Ti Punch kommt dies schön zur Geltung, wirkt hier geradezu elegant, Klasse.
