I really enjoyed this one 😎 Cool ester notes paired with various fruits (strawberry, pineapple, cherry) and some menthol minty notes, which reminds me on some fisherman‘s friend 😜😎 At the finish I found also a nice note of chamomille in the background😬🤤🫨

Unbelievably good! in the finish as if you had just sucked an Em-Eukal candy ready.the development from opening the bottle to the aftertaste is from front to back really nice! Mint / Menthol / Eucalyptus dominate the overall picture, with light strawberry tones in the background.one of my favorite rums so far!

I've heard a lot about Savanna rums, but only recently got to sample them. And I can see why this rum has a high rating. I don't like "medicines", but here I liked it extremely 😀 But these aromas and tastes later subsided and I got a beautifully complex rum in the glass, where I could smell wood, menthol, tea, fruit, esters and dark chocolate. A beautiful aroma that changes in the glass, a perfect complex taste and a long finish that will warm you up. I will definitely try other rums from this brand.

This is a tasting from 2021 that ended in me buying a bottle for my shelf 😊 A dry and intens rum on the palate. Very well balanced between ABV, overripe fruit and the light wood with some roasted notes.

Bottle as a replacement for the recently tasted and me electrifying, but only expensive to purchase RN Savanna 2007 12y (RX680) bought, and I can blissfully say, this rum is in no way inferior to his one year less continental stored brother (with previously also 10 years of tropical storage). A really great, recommendable rum, very nice red-fruity and strong. Update 2023-04-01: And now the bottle is unfortunately empty ... Had really already grown fond of this strong rum. It just does everything right. Very characteristic is already the smell that the rum immediately exudes when pulling off the elegant glass cork. You immediately imagine yourself on a tropical island in the Indian Ocean. Newly I discovered during this tasting the presence of certain esters in the nose. But only quite subtly, underlining the attractive overall impression. It definitely remains at 89 points. Take care, my friend. Savanna Grand Arome steht drauf und genau das ist hier auch drin! Was für ein geiler Rum! Was für ein toller Rum, der seine größte Stärke am Gaumen hat. Mit richtig Power und einem von Rauch umwobenen prall gefülltenFruchtkorb. Der Abgang ist lang, könnte aber noch lönger sein xD Der Kurs für dieses Bottling ist leider in die Höhe geschossen. Vielen Dank für das Sample @Gunnar!

Starker Grand Arome. Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden, tolle Fruchtnoten (Erdbeere,Ananas) mit einer feinen Mentholnote. Erinnert mich auch ein bisschen an Eisbonbons. Insgesamt sehr fein ausbalanciert..

Kneipe Alte Post Witten Februar 2025. Hier ein klasse Savanna von Rum Nation. Schöne Nase bestehend aus Klebstoff, Menthol und Minze. Am Gaumen dann viel Ester, wirkt vergoren, komplex und überreif. Sehr lecker.

I really wasn’t expecting this rum to be on such a high level (nose and taste wise) as I never had much interest in sampling Savannas. This rum totally changed my opinion. The mix of overripe fruit, tea, glue and mint is extremely lovely to the nose. I could smell the glass for hours. The taste adds a nice complexity and wood. Really amazing 🤩

Das zweite Wichtel sample von Moritz. Einmal probiert kam schnell Kaugummi durch und Savanna war gesetzt. Danke 😊 In der Nase einiges an Tee, wir haben Klebstoff etwas Frucht. Ich mags andere würden wohl nur die Nase rümpfen 😄 Am Gaumen gleich Erdbeeren, Kaugummi dann einiges an überreifer Frucht und Gewürz. Spürbar Menthol und Minze und in der Tat auch leicht fleischig im Geschmack. Finish dann wunderbar angenehm warm wieder die Erdbeere, vorwiegend trocken. Alkohol ist entsprechend des hohen abv Auch deutlich wahrnehmbar, es empfehlen sich also sehr kleine Schlücke, was den Genuss nur erhöht Ein Klasse Rum und auch mein letzter für dieses Jahr. Danke an die Community die diese Vielfalt möglich macht.
