Trouble is, the flavor thins out and the alcohol takes over the finish — a few tasters call it almost too sharp for 40%. One member summed the sweetness up as a touch too much. I agree with the ratings here. It's an average rum. Unfortunately, it's a little too sweet for me now. Here we have vanilla, chocolate and some cocoa on the nose and palate, but not quite my cup of tea.

Trying this one at my friend's grill party. It is not something I would need to repeat. It's sweet palate is relatable to guatemalan style of rums. Only twist to this one is the spiciness and slight vegetal flavor.

Nothing special at first, little taste, no power at all. The finish is finally pleasantly long and spicy and allows you to enjoy after the first sip by bringing more flavor.
