This German-made spiced rum leads hard with ginger, then piles on orange, vanilla, honey, chocolate and coffee — a lot going on at once. Most tasters found it heavily spiced and liqueur-sweet, with the rum itself hard to find and a sharp, sometimes bitter finish. Very much a love-it-or-hate-it bottle.

A mixed opinion of this rum. First of all, it is a spiced rum. Ginger immediately jumps out at you, but if you try to block it out, vanilla, honey and orange remain. In the mouth there is a ginger/chili spiciness, which is greatly softened by a distinct sweetness. Acidic, spicy finish that lingers for a long time. Very inexpensive and very special rum. As I am not a fan of ginger, this rum hardly convinces me.

Wild aroma, very special, not bad. Details have to be judged by connoisseurs, special, quite soft, you can even enjoy it neat. But as a layman, I can't put it into words, sorry. Smells similar to mon Cherie, sharp alcoholic but pleasant. Taste is dominated by sharpness, ginger.

Spiced Rum Absolutely not my thing... The rum barely recognizable, more a collection of different taste components. If you like that kind of thing it might be good though. You can tell it’s not badly made, the taste of each comes through naturally. Ginger, orange, chili, honey, vanilla, cocoa and coffee, in that order. Only in the nose does the orange dominate.

Nose: woody and spicy, with ginger and orange. Very artificial and unfortunately doesn't really suit me. Palate: like on the nose woody and spicy with ginger and orange. On the palate it is even less convincing. Finish: unfortunately not short enough and becoming very bitter. Conclusion: This one doesn't work for me at all. Maybe better for mixing.

Very over-spiced Spiced... Smells like cherry, milk chocolate and spices. The taste is burning, ultra sweet like milk chocolate. The alcohol is not well integrated, burns all the way down... Reminds me of Riise. Just as sickly sweet

This is not rum but wine spirit. Unfortunately too sweet in taste. The spice aromas are complex from almond, through coffee and ginger to unfortunately very artificial tasting orange. Unfortunately no drinking recommendation from me.

Very spiced, eh? On the nose, ginger, orange and chocolate literally jump out. Pro: it is actually distilled here in this country. Sweetness at the level of a liqueur, you hardly notice the rum anymore. Coffee, chocolate, toffee, ginger, orange... basically everything you could put in. Very special, you have to be into it. But definitely not a total failure. Addendum: The more things I try, the worse it gets. In the spiced category below average, and unpleasantly sharp.
