Loved here, with one honest asterisk. The nose is the star — aged esters, glue, ripe banana, mango, vanilla and a hint of orange peel, that tropical overripeness Long Pond fans chase. Then the palate turns sweet, almost syrupy, and a few tasters feel it buries the 53% and flattens the punch a proper 17-year Jamaican promises. Still, most call it a beauty.

This is an exceptional rum from Jamaica. Pretty different from what you would expect from a Jamaican. This rum doesn't get the credit it's worth and I think Jamaica rum lovers should give it a go. Price to quality is extremely good.

Fett! schön ausbalanciert und sauer fruchtig nach Banane mit zitrusabrieb und karamell. 🤤 im Abgang dann genau die richtige Menge Holz, unglaublich schön ausgewogen und lecker! schade dass ich dafür gefühlt 10 Jahre zu spät dran bin😅
