Rum Albrecht Long Pond LPS 1993
Most people land high on this older Long Pond, but there's a real catch underneath. The nose wins everyone over: aged esters, banana, mango, vanilla, a bit of orange peel and that classic glue note. Then the palate turns very sweet, almost syrupy, which softens the 53% but also flattens some of the power tasters hoped for. Aromatic and tropical, just sweeter than a Jamaica purist expects.

This is an exceptional rum from Jamaica. Pretty different from what you would expect from a Jamaican. This rum doesn't get the credit it's worth and I think Jamaica rum lovers should give it a go. Price to quality is extremely good.

Fett! schön ausbalanciert und sauer fruchtig nach Banane mit zitrusabrieb und karamell. 🤤 im Abgang dann genau die richtige Menge Holz, unglaublich schön ausgewogen und lecker! schade dass ich dafür gefühlt 10 Jahre zu spät dran bin😅
