A light Spaniard, in other words: pleasant, thin, mild. Quite sweet, without edges and corners. Certainly exciting for beginners, better than most supermarket “premium” rums.

Well, I don’t find it bad at all. I quite like the whole Artesanal range for a 40%. Here also a sweetish taste of chocolate and vanilla in nose and palate. A bit too sweet, otherwise okay.

Very young, bright and fruity on the nose. Kiwi and citrus, light wood, some vanilla and popcorn. On the palate unfortunately absolutely thin, mild, sweet and young. More like popcorn vodka that briefly waved at a fresh barrel stave. Unfortunately stands out as completely insignificant in the series.

Before the tasting starts soon I wanted to treat myself to a nice Artesanal. However, this one is really not so good. On the nose there are notes of fruits and a hint of vanilla. On the palate then relatively sweet, sugarcane and honey.
