A very nice Hampden that needs to rest or the ABV will bite your nose. Fruity with some wood and I really like the roasted/smoky touch on the palate.

It tastes almost like slivowitz... Hampden, the legendary Jamaican distillery, which besides rum also produces alcohol for perfumes. In all rums from this distillery you can feel wild esters, after which your whole body soaks in the scent of yellow tropical fruit - mango, papaya, pineapple, peach. One of the rums you "must try before you die".

Well, Hampden, the same old story again, here we have a very nice bottling from Velier in the glass, nice LROK. The tropical fruits banana and pineapple are clearly recognizable here, but also esters and slightly mineral.
