La Favorite – Le Brut Cœur de Rhum 2016 – 50.7% Limited edition of 1,000 bottles, this Brut Cœur de Rhum was selected to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Maison Dugas. It is a blend of 2016 barrels, aged 4 years, then bottled as cask strength at 50.7%. A pleasant rum, marked by a nice freshness, light woodiness and some spicy notes. Admittedly, it lacks a bit of complexity, but let's not forget it is only 4 years old.
