Un rhum qui a tout pour plaire sur le papier et qui offre un bel équilibre et des notes typiques de Demerara. L’illusion reste au nez, mais la bouche est décevante, diluée. Et pourtant j’en attendait beaucoup surtout que c’est un single cask. Regoûté et définitivement déçevant.

Dur de définir ce nectar en étant enrhumé... Avec ce nez je dirait presque un Jamaïcain ... Le poivré, le floral avec une pointe de fruité joue la gagne en équilibre avec les esters.... Une belle promesse. En bouche le poivré se fait extrêmement présent... Il tue toutes les autres effluves... L'alcool à de la peine à renforcer les effluves... Dommage. La fin de bouche on retrouve une petit boisé sympa. En toute fin une astringence se fait présente... Est-ce le rhum(e) qui altère cette dégustation possible. Malheureusement elle ne me rempli pas de joie. Un peu déçu. A regouter sans rhume....
