It's a dry spiced rum that surprises people — one taster expected a Jamaican, catching glue, citrus and "Tankstelle" funk instead of the usual sweet-spice mush. Cinnamon, clove and vanilla sit on a dry, unsweetened body, with a hint of banana. "Very pleasant to sip" for some; too thin and lacking oomph for others.

Number 13 from the Tastillery Advent calendar. If I hadn't read it... I thought it was a Jamaican. Funky smell on the nose. Citrus fruits and gas station. Still quite a bit of funk on the palate. No sweetness. Glue, citrus and a slight sharpness.
