Aahhh! A dream of a neisson! Fresh macarons, the 12 years in the barrel perpetuated with a beautiful cedar note. Chapeau. Compared to the 2004 SC, much more dried fruit. Elegant and perfectly balanced. Then woodier in the mouth, crisp, warm. Mmhhh, the salivation is stimulated. It does not have the shortcoming of some Neisson to be a little too weak on the chest du. A great rum, what can I say! Will soon taste it against the 15ys Batch #3, my reference so far.

A very good Neisson. As usual, it's a cut above the rest. A beautiful gourmandise perfectly counterbalanced by the spices.

Just spend an extended weekend in The Hague, Holland and I found a lot of nice places to test rum. This one is a lovely one from Neisson and i think even beginners may give it a chance. The nose is fruity with spices and chocolate trailed by light leather and wood. The palate ia kifgtly dry and very smooth with fruit, spices and wood as well as lighter notes of chocolate, leather and wet tobacco. The finish is long and lightly dry, which makes the flavours stick to your palate for very long. Dried fruit, wood and spices complete this finish.

wieder ein richtig guter Neisson! Was mir bei diesem besenders auffällt, ist die erdige Wurzel-Note am Gaumen. Ein schöner Kontrast zur eher fruchtigen Nase. Besten Dank nach Wien für diesen leckeren Feierabend-Sipper!

Very nice. Went through some Neisson tasting recently. Leather, dry fruits, a bit of cocoa on the nose. Smooth attack, well balanced and pleasant. Quite long - with dry fruits and some sweetness. Recommended Tasted again - really very good - liked it more than the first time around. Increased the grade by 0.2

Goût noix, le nez est très expressif, à la longue parfum de tabac. En bouche la première accroche est riche, mais légèrement en dessous de l’attendu. Le rhum reste agréable peu d’amertume, longueur moyenne

Line up decouverte Neisson. On débute par le 12 ans. Un produit déjà très équilibré et expressif quand on lui laisse le repos nécessaire. Belle entrée en matière dans le hait de gamme de la marque.
