Retasting this one and it lost a few points. This is the new 2020 black cask from Plantation and I really like the smokiness it has. A nice blend from Peru and Barbados nicely balanced which ends up in a nice sipper. The nose is fruity with spices and you get a hint of the smoke already. The palate is kind og light and soft and here the barrel and the smoke really shines. A very cheap sipper that I can only recommend.

Complex but pleasant.the coconut is felt but quickly turns into something quite warm and slightly smoky, even spicy.

Relativ schwach in der Nase. Ich kann nichts zu Peru sagen, merke nichts davon. Riecht wie klassisch fruchtiger Barbados mit viel Toast und Fass. Im Mund dann leider auch recht nichtssagend und recht dünn. Schmal und süß, leichte Frucht und ein recht harscher Wechsel zum Rauch. Für mich bisher der schwächste der Reihe.
