Not the grassy agricole you might expect — long tropical aging has turned this Neisson blend into something warm and nutty. Hazelnut praline, milk chocolate and freshly toasted peanuts run through the nose, with a whisper of varnish and dried fruit underneath. The palate stays oily and balanced: nuts, light plum, a touch of citrus bitterness and just gentle oak. One taster still found it a shade quiet on the palate.

A privilege to have been able to witness the opening of one of these bottles and to have been able to taste it! A blend of 4 vintages put together beautifully with excellent balance! Very similar to the 1994 Armada but with a more pronounced vegetal part! Another masterpiece!

#6000 27.11.2025 Celebrating tasting number 6000 and I saved this one especially for this event. Nose Round, balanced, wood, nuts, fruity, light chocolate, dried fruit, spice, faint varnish, faint caramel, light tobacco. Palate Oily, balanced, velvety, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, nuts, light plum, light orange, spice, light bitter. Finish Medium to long, oily, wood, light caramel, light plum, nuts, light honey. Empty glass Orange, nuts, caramel, raisin, light chocolate.
