#6870 30.05.2026 The wife went to bed and now I can enjoy a few more samples in an effort to reduce the huge stack I have. Listening to some tracks by Exminds, Jo Cartwright, Andain, Costa and Maria Naylar. This is a nice rum and at release the price tag was pretty good in my mind. The profile is typical for PM and I love it. Pencil shavings/graphite, plum, herbs, chocolate, roasted wood, apple and some light metallic notes. Needs to rest to really open up properly.

Not the Guyana I like, but very good Guyana nonetheless. Herbal, freshly cut young wood, fruity green tea on the nose. Lots of leather and wood and pleasant bitterness in the taste.
