Sipped neat it opens floral and fresh — sugarcane juice, litchi, lime and a green, grassy edge, with a saline, almost iodine finish that a few tasters called the best part. The wild fermentation adds a fruity, faintly funky twist to the agricole backbone. One reviewer clocked "some Jamaican hints," though the palate turns out lighter and drier than the nose promises.

A Thai rum with natural fermentation that offers a lot for its price. Floral and vegetal notes are abundant, with notably eucalyptus and sugar cane that give a lot of freshness. Exotic fruits and citrus fruits are also present, accompanied by ginger for a spicy touch, giving a dry, balanced and greedy whole. The attack in mouth prolongs the pleasure on this fruity, floral, vegetable and spicy frame, offering a natural rum, very fresh and easy to access. The finish is quite long and continues on saline notes almost iodized. A very nice example of the potential of Thailand with French know-how for the years to come.

May taste it at the german rum festival. Tastes like a pretty intense agricole, definitely exciting what's coming out of the distillery. I'm curious to see what else will follow - you should definitely give it a try

On the nose very beguilingly intense, typical Agricole, but here with a touch of fruitiness. The palate, unfortunately, can not quite keep up. It is too light and soft

A nice unusual sugarcane rum, with some Jamaican hints. The wild fermentation might be a real thing here, giving a more fruity and floral profile. Drink side, it is surprisingly dry and salty, despite being full of fruity and floral notes

#4161 I bought a lot of samples at the GRF and it'll take me a while to get through 😊 This rum is fresh and fruity with a warm and gentle palate at the same time. It's dry and has very nice floral notes.

Tasted at the 12 GRF in Berlin: For me, this is the best rum in the range. Not an ester bomb like Jamaica, but an exciting and unique character!

wacky and very complex nose!ginger tea with kaffir lime leaves, papaya, lychee, sesame, red pepper, licorice and eucalyptus. very fresh and slight hints of polish. taste then simultaneously salty, sweet and fresh-sour after banana, licorice, salty peanut butter, sesame,coconuts, lime and papaya. all very concentrated and tasty and harmonious! in the daiquiri it is clearly more acidic, very fresh, the "polish" comes through a little more, but so quite harmonious as the 40er he is in the daiquiri then not quite. pure it is much more exciting.

Not a big fan but has the merit of having a lot of aromas on the nose and palate. Cane, lychee and a salty edge.

On the nose it is very delicate with hints of tropical fruits, flowers, and sugar cane, shortly after also a shy note of vinegar and citrus. On the palate it is fresh, delicate and floral, notes of anise and eucalyptus, with a velvety imprint of fruit (banana, coconut, lychee, citrus) and almonds, in the finish also a bit of chestnuts and vegetal (artichokes) with light peppery and medicinal notes (savory/acidic). A product with a unique consistency and profile, but very light and with an almost absent finish. Interesting. The rating ranges between 6.6 and 7.5.

My first tasting at the GRF 12, and what a banger. Funky pear on the palate. Long finish. This is right up there with my favorite agricoles. Reminds me of Paranubes. Fascinating rum.

First time try Thailand rum. Nose: Wow ! Bright, feesh aromas of tomato, olive, pumpkin. Some floral notes, little bit rotten vegetables, overriped mango, banana, litchi & fresh sugarcane juice. High level Agricole. Palate: Nice balance. Very gently. Little bit sweet, creamy. Coconut milk, litchi, banana. Slighty peppery, some tomato, olive, eucalyptus, chamomile tea. Grassy. Very tasty. Aftertaste: medium-long. Slighty peppery, dry, little bit salty. Litchi, eucalyptus, grass, floral and fermented notes. Conclusion: if you like Agricole (I love it) - you need to try this rum. Great job.

Very pretty white, I love the progressive evolution from a fresh, fruity, floral nose to a more complex palate that evolves a lot to finish on its ashy notes of cold tobacco, a real journey in the glass!
