Cola drinkers get the most out of this one. It's soft, sweet and easy — vanilla, caramel and chocolate up front, with honey and a bit of dried fruit behind. The 40% is so mild that one member pours 30-50% more into the mix than usual. Sipped neat it's pleasant but simple, and a few tasters find the sweetness sits on top of everything.

Für Rum Cola. Erstaunlich milder Alkohol: ich nehme 30-50% mehr Rum in den Mix als sonst. Vanille und Milde Frucht vll Richtung Mango. Im Abgang ein wenig Ingwer Schärfe und Gewürz. Kurzer Nachgeschmack. Sehr schöne Flasche.

Der ist dann schon, was den Preis angeht, viel besser als der RX7613. Aber wirklich so viel besser finde ich ihn auch nicht, hier ist die Süße zu dominant. Vanille, Schokolade, Karamell und Honig lassen sich hier erkennen.

A starter rum for an evening tasting. On the nose: vanilla, wood, caramel. On the palate, a little of the same as the nose, with sugar and vanilla. Medium finish. Not a fan

The smell is dominated by vanilla, honey and caramel, which also remain in the mouth. However, drier as the smell suggests. Smoke or roasted aromas or bitter almond, which remains particularly in the long finish.

Interesting nutty smell and taste. I also tasted vanilla and toffee without the rum being sweet. The woody aroma rounds off the taste for me. Pleasant and drinkable on its own.
