Gefällt mir wirklich gut dieser Mhoba. Erinnert mich entfernt an einen Clairin. Nase aber überwiegend (tropische) Früchte und nur leicht floral. Am Gaumen dann die volle pflanzlich/florale/grasige Dröhnen. Mir gefällts.

Mhoba's eccentric profile shines through here. Mushrooms, truffles, musk, sugar cane, notes of fermentation and decomposition, it's all there. Fortunately, the fruity side is there to remind us that this is a rum. The attack on the palate evolves under an atypical framework, bordered by buttery notes, thyme, floral and herbaceous notes, a hint of salt and pepper on a medicinal and fruity background. The alcohol is well integrated. The well-crafted finish brings us back to the vegetal and herbaceous framework, adorned with flowers, musk, spices (chili pepper) and leather with a certain bitterness. A fruity, honeyed veil reminds us that Mhoba is capable of finesse. A most zany profile, but very interesting to discover.

#4143 A fresh and fruity profile with a spicy warm touch on the palate. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass has some cane and licorice. Price to quality is very good.

Hervorragend gemacht; schöne, intensive Noten. Der Alkohol ist perfekt integriert, klasse! Mit Wasser wird er buttrig aber auch floraler mit Zitrusnoten im Abgang.

Aroma:Fruity like a fruit brandy - my first thought is Williams Christ.Lots of tropical fruit aromas - papaya, mango, lychee juice.The purest fruit salad ... with sweet cream, sugar cane and honey.Taste:Sweet and creamy in the mouth, yet fruity and spicy.Spicy alcoholic when swallowed, yet wonderfully fruity.This is really fine distilled ... elegant, sweet, extremely fruity with sugar cane, salt and grassy flavors.Mirabelle plum, Japanese wool mistletoe - lowquat, fruit compote with cream.Finish:Medium length, fruity, sweet and warming.Conclusion:What a tasty thing! Die Nase ganz klasse Himbeeren. Sehr intensiv... Rieche ihn auch wenn er weit entfernt vor mir im Glas steht. Der Geschmack hat einen starken Obstler Einschlag. Sehr angenehm zu trinken. Abgang etwas kurz. Wahrscheinlich ein hammer daiquiri rum.

My first white mhoba. I'm very surprised; I was expecting an aromatic bomb like what I've already drunk from this brand, but it's nothing of the sort. The nose is soft, with a sweet, fruity bouquet. On the palate, it's more eau de vie and grassy, creamy. The finish is earthy with mushrooms, grass and cane.

Sampled 23-06-2024 Nosing This smells like a high funk Jamaican rum , plenty of acetone , alcohol, nail varnish and heavy fruit Tasting Very thin sugarcane rum with the grass , olives and slight chive note .. Suprised me at the nosing compared to the taste..... Heavy pitted fruit notes to finish .
