Sweet rum, the opposite of complex, but drinkable. But then a little expensive.

A quite reasonable rum in my opinion. Luminously sweet with notes of caramel and vanilla, but not over the top. Definitely a medium-priced rum that I can recommend. Tastes very good neat.

Quite a nice blend that is now too sweet and unexciting for me. I will use it in future for cocktails or to introduce friends to rum. =)

Revisiting after the bottle kill: The sweetness I mentioned earlier is overpowering. Notes of hazelnuts is really nice but spices and sweetness is way too much. You get the same on the 👅 with vanilla, nutty, syrupy taste all around. Otherwise really good if you are in a mood for something sweet. Medium finish is a nice thing as I thought it will be very short as is the case with overly sweet rums. Essentially only 2 points less.
