To start off, this is a very good Agricoles of you look at the price tag and quality. The nose starts off hard with grass and oak and then you get sweet honey notes mixed with fruit and a pinch of vanilla. A typical Agricole range of flavours. The palate continues where the nose left off. Lightly sweet honey with grass and oak, this is followed by fruits, vanilla and chocolate. A complex and well balanced rum. The finish is medium long with smoky oak, vanilla and raisin.

Wow, this one is really good. On the nose we have a nice mix of wood and spices (lots of vanilla). On the palate also woody and spicy, especially vanilla and caramel stand out. You hardly feel the alcohol.

At the risk of sounding heretical... it's very good for a 6-year-old agricole, but it's a bit flat... Vanilla, dried fruits, quince, wood, maybe a bit of milk chocolate... the fresh cane revives the flame a bit in the middle of the mouth. I think I expected a bit more anyway. Medium-long finish.
