06.10.2001 Whiskymessen.dk in Kolding. Went with good friends of which most were whisky drinkers. They did have a bit of rum present and some bottles we brought for more fun. Notes. Medium dark to dark. Nose: wood, dried fruit, light, earthy. Palate: light, wood, pineapple, spicy. Finish: medium long, earthy, wood, banana.

Jamaica. The Legacy Brands @Artur: Lots of molasses, caramel, espresso, slightly bitter but still balanced. Not so bad!

Jamaica The Legacy Brands. First of all many thanks again to TheDunderHut for this compilation of old historic rums that I probably would never have tried otherwise. Tried and analyzed together with DomM, even if they didn't really blow me away, I'm glad to have had them in the glass.

Jamaica Legacy Brands. Cheers to Artur for curating this historical set! Heavy on burnt sugar / caramel on the nose and palate. Some sweetness and more dark notes (mokka). Unfortunately this throws off the balance of the bottling.
