Wood and citrus lead here — orange peel, grapefruit, a dry sugarcane edge — with a faint smoke note a couple of tasters didn't expect. It leans holzig and slightly tart up front, enough that one member kept chewing on it, but the mouthfeel turns creamy and waxy the longer you hold it. Impressive body for only 44.2%; the short finish is the one gripe.

Ein schöner Agricole, der trotz seines niedrigen Alkoholgehalts niemals dünn oder wässrig erscheint. Im Mund ist es mir anfangs ein wenig zu sehr auf der holzig-säuerlichen Seite, was einen anhaltenden Drang zu kauen entstehen lässt, wodurch sich jedoch das Mundgefühl in eine sehr ansprechende, cremig-wächserne Richtung entwickelt. Leider kann der Abgang das ansonsten hohe Niveau dieses Rhums nicht ganz halten.

Schöner, alter Agricole, der für seinen geringen ABV wirklich intensiv daherkommt. Das Profil ist in Summe schon recht holzorientiert, dazu sehr schön abgerundet, aber nicht hochkomplex.

#4698 12.04.2024 Relaxing after a very intense week at work. Nose Fresh, light medicinal, light wood, citrus, grass, light leather, faint caramel. Palate Round, balanced, wood, medicinal, light grass, complex, light leather, light caramel, faint mint, spicy. Finish Medium to long, spicy, wood, light mint, grass, light leather, light caramel. The empty glass has some vegetal and floral notes. Price to quality is pretty good in my mind.

Ein schöner Clement. Meines Erachtens hat er aber ein paar kleine Fehlnoten. Er wirkt ein wenig säuerlich und holzig im Mund. Der Abgang ist meiner Meinung nach zu kurz, was ihm eine höhere Bewertung verwehrt
