The first and really 20-year-old bottling is CLEARLY better than the later ones... strange that the same product was advertised... for me they are worlds apart. Here I tried the old version and you can really drink it well... of course still sweet and diluted but still drinkable.

The last 'youthful sin' from back then. But the leather case already has something today. Last remnants in the bottle, the closure was already stuck with sugar 😬. 44g/l easily in there. The long time in the bottle was certainly not beneficial, but sugar preserves. Nose: surprisingly present for so little ABV. Spicy-fruity, caramel, sugar, vanilla and very sweet, but also some young wood and a slight floral note, like a rose. Overall a bit flat but really okay. 60 Palate: Wow, as expected pure sugar. Like a liqueur. Totally artificially sweet. Apart from sugar syrup, caramel and some vanilla I can't find anything else here. Maybe some meringue. Crazy stuff. 5 I'm just no longer able to handle the oversweetness. Sorry old Foundation xx years. Unfortunately have to pour you away 😅

Little flavor, sweet, some chocolate, vanilla, wood, thin, despite the dilution the alcohol is not well integrated and quite biting.
