The base is formed with rums from Panama, Guyana, Barbados and the Dominican Republic, all aged between 2 and 5 years. But that's not all, there's also Caroni 19 Years Old and Enmore 27 Years Old. What's that doing in our jamica lineup! And they haven't stopped there: they've added unaged pure pot still Jamaican rum. Funky! On the nose, a blend combining just the right amount of fruitiness (citrus-grapefruit) and rather expressive aromas (Funky). On the palate, it's a blend of Jamaican and overripe fruit notes.

Quite pleasant, also in comparison to the cask- and vat-strength Sample Eleven Extra Matured. The Guyana and Jamaica components compete with each other, sometimes the Jamaica funk wins, sometimes the Guyana aniseed/licorice. We notice that the finish is relatively short, but the intensity on the tongue is pleasantly present for a 44 percenter. For a relatively inexpensive blend, it's very decent considering the price.

A very cool way to start discovering rums that are a little esterized, a little too light for a sharp palate, but I think it's a great blend.

Price-quality a top product. In the aroma the Jamaican dominates with (over)ripe fruit and a bit of funk while in the taste there is some depth. Sweet but not too sweet with a long somewhat complex finish.

Decent blend. Could have a bit more abv%. The Jamaica part is dominant. Second tasting. Nose: Bit more funk than I remember. More Earthy. Hint of tar. Good! Mild in taste. More classic easy rum in taste: caramel. Coffee. Vanilla.

Tasted as a blind sample. Thanks Adrian 🙏🏼So right I could not classify him. I meant reltaiv much Enmore to have tasted out. But with the funk of tropical fruit that comes through, it didn't quite fit. On the palate, relatively weak, though complex and quite a bit to discover. Certainly a very good PLV. Quite pleasing rum.

Tried as a blind sample. I could not decide where to put it and had thought of a blend. With the amount of different styles also impossible to guess. Pleasant nose, but quite weak on the palate, especially too thin. Still tasty and varied and all the more exciting as a blind sample. Thanks to the donor!
