Northern lights meet, thanks w00tan for the holiday souvenir I find the Havana 3 already not bad, but this one was surprisingly good again, despite only 40% Floral nose like Havana 3, only cooler. And pleasantly yellow-fruity in taste And Lukas conjured up an excellent Mojito from it, the rum did very well in it.

#4611 09.02.2024 Nordlichter treffen. This was a huge surprise because the bottle and the colour looked very subtle and uninteresting. This one should be a great mixer, but it's also really nice as a sipper. Nose Faint wood, floral, mint, citrus. There was a perfume like note to it. Palate Faint wood, fruity, floral, naturally sweet, warm, light. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruity, warm.

Tried for the first time at the Nordlichter meeting, now my last 2 cl - thanks to w00tan This rum was a real surprise that lasts, as I pour it a second time now. Indeed, an almost room-filling bouquet, which is surprising for such a young Cuban. The floral nose is marked by yellow pome fruit (quince), chocolate and white almonds. On the palate, it is creamy and very soft at 40% - a slight alcohol note is still noticeable. Aromatically it stays true to itself, the pome fruit turns into a fruit brandy note. The light vegetal aromas from the mouth are found again - tastes like sugarcane. The finish is rather short and unspectacular, there is a slight medicinal note, fresh herbs, bitterness of spices with lingering fruitiness. The mojito we made with it was excellent and that is probably its real purpose. If this rum were available here, I would probably always have a bottle open. It's not a rum miracle, but the best Spanish white rum I've tried so far.

Floral, light, smells and tastes a bit like fruit brandy. Very fresh and round and quite tasty for a Havana. Of course a bit entertaining overall, but proof that the colleagues can do it when they want to. We also had this in a perfect mojito. Thanks to Lukas for that!

Great floral nose, light fruits / quince. On the palate also very fruity and complex for its 40%. On the finish it then lacks power, it quickly becomes quite watery, some wood remains. Very good for its 40%. Makes a really nice Mojito.
